Hello!
As women we have a lot of choices when it comes to accesorising outfits. Accesories are a great way of tying together a look, whether you are dressed up or down. There has been a lot of focus on clutches of late, and they are no longer for evening wear or weddings only.
American Apparel is currently selling the most beautiful leather clutches, Im a sucker for leather and clutches, so thats a great combination.
Bank also sells clutches for a lot less than American Apparel, they are not leather but they are still very good looking. Clutches are a great way of adding colour to an outfit, they are just really fun and sassy.
So the bigger, softer and brighter the clutch the better! Dont you just Love Fashion?!

Face Of The Day: Tika Sumpter
Hello!
I love Tika Sumpter's make up, she always looks flawless. It is very easy to look ashy and chalky when you are dark in complexion, but her skin is always glowing and her foundation is always matched perfectly.
The 28 year old American actress/model who starred in the soap One Life To Live and Gossip Girl, also plays Jason Derulo's "It Girl" in his new music video.
When it comes to make-up I firmly believe that if your foundation is a perfect match then you are on the right track.
For women of colour Iman Cosmetics, Fashion Fair, Sleek, Black Opal, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Maybelline and Revlon have a great range of colours to choose from. Start by getting samples to try at home in natural light that way you get a true picture of what the shades look like.

Trend: Animal Prints
Hello!
Animal prints have changed since the good old days, do you remember the days when it was acceptable for people, both men and women to go around dressed in head-to -toe animal prints? LoL! Im an 80's kid, I've seen it all.
I was never into animal prints, never!! It made me think of bad decor and those ladies that think they still have "It" but we all know "It" left years ago, probably ran away from the bad combination of zebra, snakeskin and leopard prints all worn together at some poor relatives wedding!
Fast Forward to 2011 and this trend is big, you can find just about anything in animal print. It can be a laptop case, handbags, hair bands and even nail designs. You take your pick.
When it comes to animal print, please tread carefully. I think you should only wear one item with animal print at a time. So if your bag is Leopard print please try not to wear the matching shoes and dress and earrings. Im talking to you Jersey Shore Ladies!!!

Fashion Profile: The Olsens
Hello!
These young ladies have grown up right before our eyes, remember them from the sitcom "Full House"? However I don't think anyone could have predicted their success. Mary Kate and Ashley are the brains behind labels such as Olsenboye and The Row, named after the famous Savile Row. They are worth millions of dollars and yet still choose to work daily whilst looking good, coffee cups in hand dodging the the papparazzi.
I love their laid back, boho sense of style, they are very different from their peers in Hollywood who are usually scantily clad falling out of carsbdrunk, looking worse for wear. I like their mix of new pieces and vintage clothes as well. They have been criticised for wearing dresses that are too long, clothes that look slightly too big for their small frames but I applaud them from steering clear of the predictable young Hollywood look of "tight bandage dresses, too big hair and those shoes that everyone must have at the moment"! Mary Kate has also been criticised for wearing fur by PETA.
These two march to the beat of their own little identical twin drums!!

All White Now
Hello!
I think it's safe to say most people like wearing white. Maybe It's the way a white t.shirt looks worn with dark denims, or a white summer dress.
White is timeless and classic, Its so easy to look effortlessly chic and well put together in it. I like that it's fuss free, crisp and clean.

Covet
Hello!
Ive been eyeing up these shoes by Sam Edelman for a while now, deciding whether they are just another pair of heels with studs on them. What do you think?
The thing is I've never been known to turn down a pair of shoes and I keep dreaming of these beauties. I recently discovered that they come in different colours which just drove me over the edge ( sad i Know).
These shoes by Sam Edelman called Lorissa are versatile, you can dress them up or down, jeans or dresses, whatever type of girl you are. They are available on ASOS.com

Trend: Watches
Hello!
Over the past year or so I've noticed a change in women's accesories, watches in particular. Womens watches used to be very predictable, they were small, delicate and most of them looked like "overly" designed bracelets. I did not see much in the way of choice, either you were wearing a sports watch or the above mentioned.
Watches are now very much menswear inspired and I love it, they are big and chunky and yet still very feminine. You can wear your watch on its own or layer lots of thin bracelets to give it that fun laid back look. I guess tis the season for chunky accesories from gold chains and rings to massive brooches.
Michael Kors has a great range of watches available on ASOS.com, Fossil has a great range as well and they are very purse friendly. Many other retailers, including the high street are vey big on this trend at the moment.
Long live the chunk!

Bag Lady
Hello!
I recently discovered my love for bags, Yes, as my friend once asked "What's wrong with You? A Tesco bag is NOT an accesory". However in my defence I must say, I do shop there a lot, so ergo the ever present plastic bag! I'm more in to shoes than anything else when it comes to accesories.
However, like most women I find myself gravitating towards the huge handbags that allow me to carry my whole world. As a child I watched my mother doing the exact same thing Im doing now, yes I get it. I must be ready for anything and the tools I need to take care of this unknown eventuality are to be stored in a big bag!
Well, as Erykah Badu sang "Bag lady you gone hurt yourself" I dont really mind twisting something as long as I know that I have a tent at the bottom of my cute bag! I have to be ready and waiting just incase the great British weather turns nasty like it does bam smack in the middle of Summer. So my little Umbrella alone just wont do. Anyway enough about the weather.
A lot of High street stores are selling some wonderful bags in all sorts of sizes, shapes, colours and materials. I personally prefer leather because its durable, and leather goods look better as they get older. If you prefer vintage leather bags visit Portobello Market, Camden Market and Spitalfield Market in London.
Retailers such as River Island, M&S, Zara, Fossil, Topshop and Debenhams are great places to pick up a fantastic bag for your tent, medical supplies, baby toys, the kitchen sink and whatever else we need to carry inorder for us to do our work effectively at a decent price! LoL

Hello Monday
For me Monday's are like the end of a long, relaxing holiday spent with your favourite people. To me Monday's mean, back to being serious, being jostled on the morning train to work. Its coming to terms with knowing that my hair that got "snatched and did" on Friday is not looking so "flaa" this Monday morning! Im sure not many people are crazy about getting back to Work, college, school and even those who stay at home with the kids or work from home feel the slump.
I've decided to look at Mondays differently, Ill try easing myself into the day instead of being whiney and uptight about it. Maybe less coffee powering me through the day and more humour will help. I guess my favourite Starbucks is about to go bust (Dont know how long I can hold out though, Ive already got the shakes LoL)
Happy Monday

Hair Care
Hello!
These are some of the hair products I swear by. I cant live without them, especially if I want to avoid looking like a cheap version of Pam Grier as Foxy Brown!
I have very coarse, stubborn and dry hair that really has a mind of its own. Ask my straightners and hair dryer, they are cowering in a corner somewhere in my bathroom.
As a result I am constantly deep conditioning with protein and moisturising conditioners in a bid to moisturise and tame my hair, that is the only way I'll be accepted into "normal society".
xx
STYLING
CHI Silk Infusion
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
Tresemme Heat Protectant
S Factor dream Drops
DEEP CONDITIONERS
Aphogee
ORS Hair Mayonnaise
KeraCare Humecto
Silk Elements
Herbal Essence (Hello Hydration)
SHAMPOO
Creme of Nature
Aphogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair
Paul Mitchell Clarifying Shampoo

Life Is Orange!
Hello
Over the past few months we have seen the meteoric rise of Corals and Oranges to the top of every girls list of must haves. Be it nail polish, lip gloss, lipstick or blushes im sure most of us now own one or two cosmetics in these shades.
I personally love it, I look at my little collection of Orange goodies and think to myself " forever summer"( in a tube anyway!!)
